She later attended the University of Georgia to study marketing but left before graduating to pursue opportunities in New York City, a move that changed her life’s direction.

Maples met Donald Trump in the mid-1980s while he was still married to Ivana Trump. Their relationship gradually became public, attracting widespread media attention and controversy.

As rumors intensified, the situation became painful for those involved. After Trump’s first marriage ended, his relationship with Maples became official.

In December 1993, Maples and Trump married in a lavish ceremony at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. That same year, they welcomed their daughter, Tiffany.

Before marrying, Maples signed a prenuptial agreement outlining financial terms in the event of divorce. Reports indicated it included structured settlements and provisions for child support.
