Canadian actress Carrie Anne Fleming, known for her roles in cult television and genre productions, has passed away at the age of 51. Her death was confirmed by her Supernatural co-star Jim Beaver. Reports indicate she died on February 26 in Sidney, British Columbia, due to complications from breast cancer.

Before fully pursuing acting, she briefly worked as a model in Vancouver. However, her natural talent soon led her toward acting, where instructors and colleagues quickly recognized her quiet intensity and ease on screen.

Her early career included roles in Viper and a small part in Happy Gilmore. She later spoke fondly of that time, often reflecting on it with humor and humility.

Fleming’s breakthrough came in 2005 when she appeared in Masters of Horror. Her performance helped establish her presence in the genre. She later gained wider recognition as Karen Singer on Supernatural, where her role brought emotional depth and connection for viewers.

She also appeared in projects like iZombie and The Unauthorized Full House Story, building a steady and respected television career. Alongside screen work, she remained active in theater, performing in productions such as Romeo and Juliet and Steel Magnolias.
