His work helped define the band\u2019s identity and broader musical era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a founding member alongside David Pack, Joe Puerta, and Burleigh Drummond, North played a central role in shaping their signature style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bandmates remembered his powerful stage presence and passion. Early memories included discovering him deeply immersed in music, a moment that marked the beginning of his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No official cause of death was announced, though he had faced health challenges, including throat cancer.
