They are more common after the age of 40 and in diabetic or obese people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\ud83d\udca7\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f4a7.svg\">&nbsp;Cyst<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most common causes. Usually appears on the face or back. Smooth and mobile, oval in shape with well-defined edges. Often has a central pore. May become painful and red if inflamed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\ud83e\udda0\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f9a0.svg\">&nbsp;Verrue<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). There are more than 100 different types, most commonly appearing on the hands, feet, or genitals. They are contagious and can be transmitted by contact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\ud83d\udd34\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f534.svg\">&nbsp;Dermatofibrome<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Small, hard, reddish growths, most often located on the legs. They are benign, but when squeezed, they often sink inwards, forming a small hollow. It is usually soft, about 5 cm, but can grow.
