According to her boyfriend, she passed away after contracting meningitis and sepsis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to PageSix, Chase died on Tuesday. She battled meningitis and an infection in her blood, which caused her to suffer septic issues. Eventually, her body shut down, her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, said, per TMZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chase had recently been hospitalized in Los Angeles. Born in Las Vegas on July 29, 1990, Chase became a household name already as a child. In 2002, she voiced the lovable Lilo in Disney\u2019s Lilo &amp; Stitch, which made her a star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same year, Daveigh Chase also starred as the eerie character Samara Morgan in The Ring. The actress earned an MTV Movie Award for Best Villain for her performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daveigh Chase, star of \u2018The Ring\u2019 and \u2018Lilo &amp; Stitch,\u2019 dead at 35<br>Chase lent her voice to several, including Chihiro in the English-language version of Spirited Away, and appeared in projects including Donnie Darko and HBO\u2019s Big Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a message shared before her passing, Hernandez described Chase as someone who had faced many hardships throughout her life but still brought light and love to those around her. He spoke about their hopes of creating a safe and peaceful home together<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAll she ever wanted was a place where we could live together, feel safe, and be happy. Now, more than ever, I want to give her that sense of home and peace in her final days,\u201d Hernandez wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rest in peace, Daveigh Chase.
